The estimated hours for servers ($30/hour) and bartenders ($50/hour) include all aspects of the event — from loading in at the restaurant, traveling to the venue, working the event itself, returning to the restaurant, and completing load-out.
Once the event concludes, the actual hours worked are calculated, and the invoice is updated a accordingly. In most cases, the final total ends up being less than the original estimate, and a refund will be issued based on the final hours.
Price estimate:
Food: $200 x 8 = $1600
Server: $30 x 6 hours = $180
Bartender: $50 x 6 hours = $300
Gratuity: 20% = $416
Tax: 11.47% = $221.52
Total: $2657.52
*Minimum before Tax, Gratuity: $1000
