Grab a Cup at Park City’s Best Coffee Houses

Caffeinate in Park City

No morning is complete without a cup of coffee–that’s just a fact of life. And if you happen to be visiting Park City, you might be surprised to find out how many delicious coffee shops and houses there are in the area.

So when you’re gearing up for a day full of mountain activities, stop in at one of Park City’s best coffee houses, which we’ve compiled into a list for you. Whether you’re craving the homey feel of Atticus Coffee or you’re hoping for a coffee and dessert from Java Cow, you’ll find there’s a ton of options to choose from that’ll satisfy your caffeine cravings.

Atticus Coffee & Teahouse

The first item on our list is Atticus Coffee & Teahouse, and this spot is something of a Park City establishment. Located on Main Street, Atticus is housed in a gorgeous row building and its comfortable interior, filled with books and eclectic gifts, is welcoming just about anyone. But the best thing about Atticus is the coffee–made from Millcreek Coffee Roasters beans, this tasty cup of joe is the perfect pick-me-up. If you’re in the mood for tea, choose one from any of their 65 varieties of loose-leaf tea options. There’s also a menu of sandwiches, bakery items, salads, and wraps for you to fuel yourself up with before heading to the mountain for the day.

Lucky Ones Coffee

Books and coffee go together like peanut butter and jelly and our next coffee shop, Lucky Ones Coffee, takes full advantage of this principle: you’ll find this very special shop located in the heart of the Park City Library. Founded by two former employees of the National Ability Center with a vision of empowering those with disabilities, Lucky Ones is uniquely positioned to both help those with disabilities as well as to break the stigma they face in the workplace. At this coffee shop, you’ll find Alpha Coffee from Salt Lake City available in any form you might wish, as well as a small selection of baked goods and breakfast options. Indeed, we are the “Lucky Ones” to be able to go to and patronize this heartfelt coffee shop.

Pink Elephant Coffee Shop

Another coffee shop located on Historic Main Street is Pink Elephant Coffee Shop, whose name was inspired by a quote from a Jack London novel. This hip little shop is one of the few small batch roasters in town, and you’ll find one heck of a cup of coffee from these experts, who do not use any chemicals or additives when making their signature drinks. In addition, there’s also a variety of food available, including bakery items and vegan options, and the shop also features a juicery that offers fresh, cold-pressed juices to visitors.

Daily Rise Coffee

Since 2004, Daily Rise Coffee has specialized in creating delicious and local organic coffee that will impress even the snobbiest of caffeine addicts. You’ll find this shop located inside The Market!, and their team of high-energy baristas are always ready to pour you the perfect cup.

Next time you need to stock up on groceries while you’re visiting Park City, be sure to check out this spot, which is dedicated to using all-natural and premium ingredients in all of their drinks.

Silver King Coffee

Not looking for the full coffee shop experience and just want to pick up a local cup of joe? Roll on up to Silver King Coffee, one of the most popular drive-through coffee spots in Park City. There’s few more local establishments than Silver King, which was created in 2011 by a family of Park City locals who raised their kids in the town.

If you’re on the hunt for that local character, this is the place you’ll find it. Choose from their huge selection of drinks, which includes not only espresso and brewed coffee, but also specialty blended drinks as well.

Java Cow Coffee and Ice Cream

Want a sweeter treat than just your normal cup of coffee? Check out Java Cow Coffee and Ice Cream, a coffee shop that not only offers tasty brewed coffee, but also an assortment of ice cream and other delicious treats like crepes and Belgian waffles as well. This bakery slash ice cream shop slash cafe is one of a kind, and well-loved by both visitors and locals alike since it opened back in 2003. As a bonus, be sure to check out the Banksy graffiti on the south side of the building, which was created when the artist was promoting his movie, Exit Through the Gift Shop, at the Sundance Film Festival in 2010.

Be Sure to Check Out More to Eat in Park City

You may not expect coffee culture in Park City to be on par with some of the bigger cities in the country, but there’s a surprising variety of coffee shops and houses that the locals swear by. Even if your tastes tend to veer towards a cup of Starbucks or cheap homebrew in the morning, there’s still lots of eateries and restaurants to check out while you’re in Park City. If you’re looking for something more fancy, be sure to read our blog on the best fine dining restaurants in town.
