A Day of Walking and Shopping on Breckenridge’s Main Street

Boutiques Galore On Main Street

Visiting the Rocky Mountains during the holiday season is not complete without a shopping trip through Breckenridge. For such a small mountain town, the shopping scene sure does pack a punch, and you’d be remiss if you didn’t take a stroll down Main Street to check out the array of shops, boutiques, and restaurants within walking distance.

If you’re the kind of person that likes to plan out their shopping trips ahead of time, we have just the guide for you. Today we’ll give you an itinerary of a day of walking and shopping on Breck’s Main Street.

Start Your Breckenridge Shopping Trip Off Right on South Main Street

Starting off on South Main Street, head over to Main Street Station for breakfast at LoLo Juice for a healthy start to your day or a decadent one at Trolley Crepes, both of which come highly reviewed. The Cheese Shop at Breckenridge is worth a stop if you like trying a variety of cheeses, as is Christy Sports, where you can rent a bike and other equipment to help you enjoy the great outdoors while you’re staying in Breck.

From Main Street Station, it’s time to make the short walk over to La Cima Mall, where you’ll find a variety of restaurants and breweries as well as some shopping gems, such as Fresh Soap Company, which is full of bath bombs and artisanal, handmade soaps that make great gifts for the holidays. You also don’t want to miss out on a visit to Outsider, an outdoor apparel store with plenty of unique products for sale, such as apparel for active lifestyles and hiking gear for your next outdoor adventure.

Midday Shopping on Breckenridge’s Main Street

Round out your morning of shopping with a trip to Marigold’s Farmhouse Funk & Junk, an eclectic shop that stocks “an ever-changing collection of goods'', all curated by three talented female artists who make much of the jewelry found in the shop.

After you’ve had your fill of exploring the eclectic goodies, it’s time to head over to the Main Street Mall. While you’re there, grab lunch at Wasabi Japanese Restaurant, then go for a walk to visit such stores as Mountain Angler, which specializes in fishing gear and supplies, or Shirt & Ernie’s, which has some great souvenir clothing items for sale to bring home to your friends and family. Wandering Daisy is another gem located nearby, which stocks handcrafted goodies and art made by local artists.

After a morning and afternoon full of shopping, you’ll be sure to need a pick-me-up, so this is the perfect time to stop in at Mountain View Coffee Bar. Along with a variety of caffeinated beverages, Mountain View also offers cocktails and delicious food as well, including an Avocado Toast you’ll remember forever.

If you’re still short on souvenir apparel, head over to Main Street Outlet, which offers tons of Breckenridge-related clothing and accessories that make for great gifts. Creatures Great & Small, located just across the street, also offers a ton of interesting goodies like license plate art, vintage Breck memorabilia, and Breck-themed picture frames to encapsulate your favorite mountain photo memories.

End the Day with New Goodies in Breck on North Main Street

As the day winds to a close, head over to Downstairs at Eric’s for a casual dinner that is beloved by all Breck’s denizens, tourists and locals alike. Across the street, you’ll also find the Lincoln West Mall, which contains a few shops that are worth exploring, such as Overland Sheepskin Co., an apparel store that stocks only the finest Overland sheepskin and leather clothing. Climax Jerky is also worth checking out in their cart in front of the Lincoln West Mall if you happen to be a jerky enthusiast.

From here, it’s easy to access the north end of Breck’s Main Street, where you’ll find a few more shopping opportunities before ending off your day. Town Square Mall contains some great restaurants if Downstairs at Eric’s wasn't to your taste, including a bakery called Mom’s Baking Company which offers some of the best baked goods in town and an ice cream spot by the name of Higgles Ice Cream which boasts some incredible flavors of the sweet stuff.

For clothing, check out the Limber Grove boutique, where you’ll find spiritual-themed clothing that will help to raise your vibration. Finally, a visit to Town Square wouldn’t be complete without going by the Breckenridge Jewelry Studio, a fantastic jewelry store that specializes in fine silverwork.
